HBS Alumni New Venture - Alumni Track
The HBS Club of India is excited to announce the 2017 New Venture Competition and invite all HBS alumni working on an early-stage startup to apply. Teams will compete in the regional competition for a chance to represent our region in the HBS global finals. This competition is open to all HBS alumni and both for-profit and not-for- profit companies are eligible.
NVC is sponsored by the Harvard Business School’s Rock Center for Entrepreneurship and Alumni Clubs & Associations. Winners receive an invitation to the student and alumni New Venture Competition Finale to be held on

- 1 st Place Prize: $75,000!

KEY DATES
January 17, 2017: Application Deadline at
Date TBD: Regional Competition takes place. Regional winners will be chosen and move onto the virtual semi-finals competition. Regional Competition judging criteria: shortlisted teams will pitch business ideas to a panel of judges.
March 10, 2017: Deadline for regional winners’ materials (pitch deck & 90-second video) for the virtual semi-finals. Virtual judges will select 4 global finalists.
March 24, 2017: 4 global finalists are notified and invited to pitch at the NVC live event on the HBS campus.
April 25, 2017: NVC Finale – Regional winners attend the Finale and 4 global finalists pitch to prominent VCs. Grand Prize,
